Job Summary
We have a challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who wants to grow their business analyst skills and take on a project leadership role within our consulting services group. As a business analyst and project lead, this person will lead requirements gathering sessions and create appropriate system requirements documentation. In addition, this person will be the primary liaison between DMC and the client organization. To be successful, a candidate must be a great communicator, organizer, and task manager with the inner drive to ensure the success of each client engagement team they work on. This position reports directly to the Director of Consulting Services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Administration or combination of a bachelor’s degree in other disciplines with relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience working in a Business Analyst role.

Responsibilities
- Independently drives the process of translating business needs into system requirements.
- Leads, facilitates, and documents interactive system requirement and design sessions to capture business rules, workflow, project goals, and project benefits.
- Acts as a liaison between the client business unit and the technical development team.
- Analyzes current operational procedures, identifies problems and recommends improvements.
- Writes detailed descriptions of user needs and system functions, in addition to preparing charts and diagrams to describe workflow.
- Prepares workflow charts and diagrams to clearly define business processes and system requirements.
- Leads client and development team status meetings.
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the development team, under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager.
- Assists with testing and managing system defect remediation and enhancement implementation processes.

They bring projects to closure by identifying and closing all loose ends can accurately estimate their own & others' time for completion of novel tasks based upon a developed architecture. Senior Project Engineers design systems with novel approaches using less familiar platforms, and recommend optimum architecture from familiar systems and components.
