Solution

DMC worked with the client to replace a manual dosing system with an automated measured dosing system.  The operator enters in the ratio of each material to be mixed in the continuous process.  The PLC communicates the mass feed rates to each automated feeder via modbus.  All recipe are stored and edited using the InTouch HMI.  The feedrates are continuously monitored and logged and the operator is immediately notified of any process deviations or feeder alarms.
