Vision System Interface

Summary

DMC developed a user interface to connect to and retrieve data from up to six cameras. The interface tracks the production data, including pass and fail counts for each failure mode, the current operator, and the up-time of the machine.

Solution

DMC created a system that connects up to six DVT cameras, with every camera performing up to two different inspections. Each camera inspects a different set of features on the part. The system records the measurement results as pass or fail into a database for each feature.  The interface includes an inspection recipe management system, which provides the ability to create, save, and load recipes that provide set measurement routines.
