  • Allen Bradley® SLC 5/03 PLC
  • Data Highway communication
  • CTC® color flat touch panel

Solution

A packaging system, or cartoner, receives wrapped pastries from a wrapping machine and stacks them to the correct height for the set carton count. This carton package count can be changed quickly and easily from the user interface. The cartoner has "no product" and "no carton" fault detection, product high and low alarms, as well as other diagnostic tools. A CTC® flat panel touch screen is used as an HMI (Human Machine Interface). The screen displays the machine status, current PLC settings, servo parameter settings, and diagnostic information.
