Employee Spotlight: Otto Gottlieb

Hi. I'm Otto Gottlieb. I'm a Systems Engineer at DMC. My favorite parts about working at DMC are the exciting projects and the variety of technologies I get to use. Also, the gym is fantastic. I go there most mornings. I really like all the events that we do with the DMC, especially the ski trip, which I'm really looking forward to.

I play around with Android apps. I do some fun development, nothing too serious, but I make little fun games.

I do some website development for this organization in El Salavador. They like to build bridges and find homes and make a life for people living in El Salavador a little bit easier and a little bit more self sufficient.

My favorite programming language is probably C.

I really like text based languages overall. Before I started working at DMC I did a tour of Europe where I went to Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, and I'd like to continue doing that so this summer I will be going to Columbia. Some day I'd like to go to Scotland to visit my ancestors there.

I think I decided to be an engineer when I was in middle school. I realized that I was good at math and science and I liked it. At the time I had no idea what engineering really was but I knew that an engineer had to be good at math and science so I was, like, 'Okay. I have my nine year plan thought out.'
