Job Summary

DMC has a challenging opportunity within our Microsoft Consulting Services group for an enthusiastic application development professional who has a desire to advance their technical skills and build business acumen. In this full-time position, you will work closely with the DMC leadership team and gain direct exposure to the senior management of our clients.

Founded in 1996, DMC is a technology company located on the near north side of Chicago. Minimum Qualifications

Developer Level I (0 - 3 years relevant experience):

  • BA or BS degree in CS, MIS, or a related field

Developer Level II (2 - 5+ years relevant experience):

  • BA or BS degree in CS, MIS, or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years of professional experience as a hands-on .NET web application developer

Key Skills

  • Working knowledge of object oriented programming techniques
  • Working knowledge of database design and authoring SQL queries
  • Ability to program with object oriented languages such as C#, C++, or Java
  • Working knowledge of XML, Web Services, and API interfaces (Level II)
  • Experience creating custom web applications using C# and ASP.NET (Level II)
  • Ability to design database schema and author stored procedures & SQL queries (Level II)
  • Developing custom web pages with HTML, CSS, and XSLT (Level II)
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Azure, AJAX, JavaScript, and jQuery is a plus


  • Work on the technical track of application development and system integration projects
  • Prototype solutions using new technologies and architectural approaches
  • Interact with clients during requirements gathering, design, testing, and support stages of projects
  • Work independently and as a member of a larger development team
  • Learn new technologies quickly and evaluate their fit as a solution to technical and business challenges
  • Lead design reviews and code reviews
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently
