DMC Houston Gone Fishin'

Since opening its doors last year, DMC Houston has been on a mission to partake in all things Texas. This mission has taken us to the Rodeoshooting shotguns, floating on the Guadalupe River, and eating Texas-sized chicken fried steak. With our June Activity Fund Budget, we decided to set sail from Galveston with Out Cast Charters and do some offshore fishing! Still half asleep, the DMC Houston crew + Stephanie rolled out of bed at 4am on a Sunday morning and headed South. By 6am we ...

Read the Serial Number or MAC Address of your Siemens PLC

A recent DMC project for an OEM machine builder involved automatically generating log files for each machine. The twist? The Drinxperiment started as a last second idea for a Courier Day (half work day dedicated to DMC internal projects). With the help of nearly every DMC engineer in the Boston office, we were able to put the finishing touches on the machine just in time for the party. The Drinxpe...

Hitting the Ground Running…to China

As we enter the Christmas season, I can’t help but think back to this time last year. I was less than three months away from graduating college and faced with a big decision. It was only a few days before Christmas Eve, that I decided to start the next chapter of my life at DMC Boston. Before I knew it, June rolled around and I found myself on a city bus in Chicago heading into my first day of training at the Chicago office. I’d had summer internships in the past and felt like I had ...
