Adding User Authentication to Your LabVIEW Project

Most industrial applications require user access levels to protect sensitive information, protect equipment, or to log specific events with the current user. These access levels hold true for test and measurement applications as well. For this reason, DMC developed a set of independent VI’s that can be integrated into any project to add user access levels. Automated Vision Inspection of Chemical Droplets

DMC developed a machine vision inspection system to measure the size and position of chemical reagent droplets on a medical device. The customer added fluorescein to the chemical reagent so that the drop would fluoresce under certain lighting conditions. DMC’s software compared the drops’ sizes and positions to acceptable criteria and generated a pass/fail result. Data and images for each inspection was logged for later traceability.

NI DAQ System Modernization

The client currently operates a test system for evaluating the performance of electric motors and wanted to replace obsolete hardware. DMC modernized the client’s existing test & measurement software to allow for the installation of more current hardware, provide additional data logging, and simplify the process for adding new features in the future.
