Zachary Coogan

Zach is a member of DMC’s Automation team in Washington, D.C. Zach completed a B.S. and an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Maryland, where he completed his thesis focusing on soft robotics. Zach interned at Saft America, where he gained experience in controls, manufacturing high-performance batteries. He also has expertise in Python and machine learning. Throughout college, Zach played rugby and continues to enjoy staying active outdoors playing sports, hiking, camping, and traveling.
