Tyler earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University, along with a minor in Computer Science. He has experience in programming (Python and MATLAB), circuit design, and computational modeling. His project work includes developing drug concentration models during a research fellowship, contributing to a field‑repairable medical oxygen concentrator, and helping design a laparoscopic surgical grasper with integrated real‑time haptic feedback. In his free time, Tyler enjoys hiking, skiing, playing video games, playing pickleball, and experimenting with new recipes.
