Double the Manufacturing Space to Support Larger, More Complex Builds
In late 2025, DMC expanded its Chicago Manufacturing Center from approximately 13,000 to 28,000 square feet to meet growing demand for in-house manufacturing, control panel fabrication, and contract production. The expanded facility supports custom assembly, small to mid-size production runs, production line setup, electrical assembly, manufacturing machines, robotic workcells, and automated production lines.
The expansion increases capacity for larger systems and introduces upgraded capabilities, such as high-power electrical service up to 100A 480V three-phase, advanced laser cutting and 3D printing, and improved loading dock access for streamlined material handling. These services are all closely integrated with DMC’s engineering teams to minimize handoffs and accelerate delivery.

The newly expanded manufacturing space enables engineers to design, assemble, and test automated test equipment (ATE) in a controlled environment before deployment.
This includes electrical panel build, hardware integration, software validation, and system-level testing for LabVIEW, Test Stand, and custom test platforms. Early validation in the Manufacturing Center helps improve test reliability, reduce commissioning time, and ensure production‑ready test systems.

Yes. In addition to control panel fabrication and system integration, DMC’s Manufacturing Center supports the build and validation of complete custom machines and automation systems.
