Austin is a member of DMC’s Automation team in St. Louis. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a Manufacturing Emphasis and a minor in Automation Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Austin has experience developing manufacturing and automation solutions, including PLC programming, controls engineering, and software development using Python and C++. Prior to joining DMC, he contributed to automation and controls projects as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Vestal Corporation and an Automation Engineering Co-op at Parker Sporlan, where he worked with industrial systems and manufacturing processes. He also served as Racing Team Director for Missouri S&T’s Multirotor Design Team, leading multidisciplinary engineering efforts on complex technical projects.
Outside of work, Austin is deeply involved in the FPV drone community, competing in racing and freestyle events at the local, national, and international levels. His interests include 3D printing, PCB design, RF systems, CNC machining, mountain biking, skiing, scuba diving, cooking, and baking.
