Aakanksh Bhat is part of DMC’s Automation team and is based in our Boston Office. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computational Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Control of Autonomous and Robotic Systems, from the University of California, Berkeley. Aakanksh has experience with Python, C++, PLC programming, and control systems, including PID, LQR, and MPC.
Prior to joining DMC, he worked on automated conveyor systems for airport baggage handling at San Francisco International Airport and designed control systems for an automated treadmill and a two-wheel self-balancing robot.
Outside of work, he enjoys watching shows and movies, hiking, swimming, playing tennis and soccer, and staying active.
