William is a member of DMC’s Automation team in Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has more than five years of experience in the fiber cement siding manufacturing industry. William has experience in Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC programming, industrial automation, and machine safety, and holds a Functional Safety Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) certification. His experience includes optimizing coating line performance, developing new product recipes using IFM IO-Link technology, and implementing safety systems for manufacturing processes.
Outside of work, William enjoys playing chess, baking pastries, and exploring local cafés and coffee shops.
