Steven is a Technical Manager on DMC’s Test & Measurement team. He joined DMC in 2015 and is based in Northern Indiana, collaborating closely with teams in the Chicago and Detroit offices. Steven leads software solutions focused on battery testing and electrification initiatives and oversees DMC’s internal LabVIEW and TestStand software frameworks, including the CORTEX and Flex frameworks.
Since joining DMC, Steven’s role has evolved from hands-on technical execution to providing software strategy and leadership for complex customer solutions. His work has supported a wide range of testing and inspection applications, including battery production systems, automotive inspection, and medical device testing. Notable projects include an end-of-line laser measurement inspection, expansion of a major OEM’s EV production line using DMC’s BPT, and high-speed data synchronization for a large, distributed testing facility for the Defense industry.
Recognized within the NI community as the creator of the DMC GUI Suite, Steven has been instrumental in shaping the development and roadmap of reusable LabVIEW frameworks and toolkits across the company. These solutions add lasting value for customers while strengthening DMC’s presence within the Test & Measurement community. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude, and is both a Certified LabVIEW Architect and Certified TestStand Architect.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with his family, listening to audiobooks, remodeling his home, and staying active through volleyball and skiing.
