DMC's UI Design Process
After the scope of your project has been determined, we'll start with an information gathering session. Our design team will ask questions about your intended audience, discuss initial ideas and determine direction for visuals and branding. We will also review any specification documents or existing applications you'd like to share.
The next phase includes research, reviewing supplied documentation, looking at competitors (if applicable), and reviewing existing branding and visual systems. Depending on the size of the project and timeline, we'll assemble an initial design or multiple design mockups or wireframes/sketches. Then we'll meet to review the initial design and gather user feedback, determine if anything may have been overlooked and begin working on an updated design incorporating any changes. At this point, the design is nearly finalized. If multiple designs or wireframes have been presented, one has been selected and any minor refinements are made. We then present you with a fully finished design.
