Adam graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, having studied abroad at the University of Western Australia and interned at Carnegie Mellon along the way. A first-generation Polish immigrant, Adam is a fan of home-cooked meals, volleyball, reading, and any hobby or craft he can get his hands on. His travels have taken him across North America, Europe, and Oceania. At DMC, he has similarly broad experience, including embedded systems design, WinCC OA, .NET application development, and automation. Since he has your attention, Adam would like you to consider that it is an automatic response in people to briefly and involuntarily smile when they see another person smiling.

Favorite DMC Project: My favorite project so far has been one of our projects in the Automotive industry. Specifically, I’m most proud of the product we’ve built with Diesel Direct, called Fuelloc. The product development process is fascinating, and I’ve been fortunate enough to lead it. Furthermore, my first project was a great introduction into the world of automation and the work we do at DMC – we worked on a gallium nitride deposition furnace for one of our bigger clients, developing a system that would help make blue LEDs more cost-effective to produce.
Favorite DMC Event: FedEx Day is by far my favorite, but I like the occasional Hacky Tuesday and leading Waffles for Business.
Favorite DMC Moment: My last week or so after training, hanging out on the DMC Chicago roof deck trying to chop watermelons mid-air with the sword I forged.
