As DMC’s Chief Operating Officer, Dan Freve leads the company’s operations and helps shape the systems, teams, and strategy needed to support DMC’s continued growth. Since joining DMC in 2007, Dan has progressed through a range of engineering and leadership roles, while working across Manufacturing Automation, Test & Measurement, Embedded Development, and Application Development.
Dan’s career at DMC has also taken him across the company geographically. After starting in Chicago, he helped lead DMC’s expansion into Boston and later Seattle. That combination of technical, operational, and office leadership experience gives him a broad perspective on DMC’s business and culture that he brings to his role as COO.
A graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Dan holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
Outside of work, he enjoys endurance cycling, team sailing, playing piano, and following Formula 1.
