Michael is a member of DMC’s Automation team in Chicago. He earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University. Michael has experience in robotics, embedded systems, and software development, including programming with C++, Python, and ROS2. He has also worked with real-time robotics algorithms, custom embedded systems, PCB design, and low-level C programming. His master’s thesis focused on the design and control of an actuated prosthetic arm, and he has experience developing custom IoT devices for process control.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys cycling, running, soccer, pickleball, and playing clarinet in wind bands.
