Kirsten is a member of DMC’s Application Development team. Her skillset includes front-end (React) and back-end (ASP.NET; Core, MVC) development for web applications, desktop application development (WPF, Qt), database implementation, development of drivers to interface with hardware (.NET, C++), and implementation of IoT messaging between cloud applications and edge devices (custom mqtt implementations, Azure IoT Hub). She has experience on DMC’s automation team, working with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC systems, and continues to be involved in IoT solutions.
Kirsten graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Before coming to DMC, she worked on the characterization and improvement of prototype aerosol samplers at a university lab. Outside of work, Kirsten likes hiking, reading, and listening to new music.
