A Director on DMC’s Automation team, Otto joined the company in 2012 and is based in Denver. He leads business development and project management in the Rocky Mountain region and works with teams nationwide to deliver complex, high-impact automation projects.
In 2014, Otto helped establish DMC’s Denver office, where his role evolved from primarily programming to leading project execution and supporting project quoting. His early experience as an engineer working on machines and factory systems shaped his ability to understand both client priorities and internal team needs, bringing a practical, solutions-focused approach to his work. He has contributed to key projects with major companies in the Battery Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Laboratory Automation, and Semiconductor industries.
A graduate of Purdue University, Otto holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering and is a Certified Professional Engineer and a Siemens Certified Developer.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, including skiing, camping, hiking, and fishing in Colorado. Each summer, he travels to Traverse City, Michigan, for a week of lake and beach time.
