S88 Batch Control with PlantPAx
DMC leverages S88 to structure equipment modules, phases, and recipes within PlantPAx, providing a modular foundation for flexible manufacturing. By separating equipment capabilities from recipe execution, batch recipes can support different products and sequences without redesigning the underlying control system for each process.
This is especially relevant to chemical manufacturing and life sciences, where production requires strict formulation control, reporting, and unit coordination as processes and products evolve over time.

Advanced Process Control Using Rockwell PlantPAx Processors and FactoryTalk Suite
DMC developed a process control system using Rockwell PlantPAx and FactoryTalk for an aerospace and defense test facility. The system improved testing flexibility and equipment diagnostics, while simulation helped reduce commissioning time and risk.
R&D PlantPAx Implementation
For this R&D hydrogen conversion project, DMC built the control system in PlantPAx. Application Code Manager sped up the programming and let the team commission equipment on-site while other development continued remotely.
