DMC Chicago's Holiday Party at the Shedd Aquarium
For the first time in three years, DMC Chicago gathered to celebrate the holidays together. This year, the Chicago team enjoyed dinner, drinks, and beautiful exhibits at the Shedd Aquarium.
The evening began in the Abbot Oceanarium, where Belugas, dolphins, and sea lions entertained arriving guests, and then we gathered for group photos on the steps.
A cocktail reception followed. Attendees mingled over drinks and enjoyed a beautiful view of the Chicago skyline until we were ushered upstairs to the Caribbean Reef for dinner.
Strolling stations and bars were situated among the exhibits with three meal options to choose from. Everyone chose thier meals and made their way to the dining area.
Our dining tables surrounded the aquarium's Caribbean Reef, containing everything from turtles to sharks to stingrays.
Dinner closed with a toast from Frank, who commemorated how this was our first holiday party together in three years, reflected on how far DMC has come since its founding in 1996, and celebrated the people who helped it get to where it is today.
The evening continued with dessert and coffee, catching up with teammates and coworkers, and exploring the open exhibits. After a year of remote work, It was nice be able to celebrate the holidays together.
