DMC is proud to be a certified integrator member of the Control Systems Integrator Association (CSIA). By maintaining CSIA certification, DMC demonstrates the best practices and knowledge in automation and integration in relevant industrial projects. CSIA recently featured an interview with Dan Freve, Project Director and DMC Boston lead, about DMC’s involvement with the association.
Freve outlined the progression of DMC’s initiation into the association. CSIA, Freve explained, “provides great resources from the perspective of both documentation and processes to model;” it also provides a network of companies “to help bounce around ideas.”
In addition to offering a list of peer companies to seek advice from and work with, CSIA also provides its members with a sort of seal of approval for potential clients looking to hire systems integrators.
Freve particularly enjoys working as a systems integrator because of “the variety in industries and technologies [DMC] get[s] to work with.” He explained the challenge and joy of employees needing “to quickly become experts in any given area” at DMC.
