DMC Attends First Annual NIDays Event
DMC was proud to participate in NIDays North America this fall. The inaugural event condensed the traveling NI Technical Symposiums into a much larger multi-track event that was held in a number of select cities. DMC was lucky enough to have both of our office locations, Chicago and Boston, selected as host cities.
DMC took part in exhibiting at NIDays in both Boston and Chicago, as well as attending many of the more than fifty technical sessions and industry discussions. If you attended, you would most likely remember DMC from our mesmerizing tilt-table demo.
For NIDays Chicago, we participated in three days of events. On Tuesday, November 12, DMC hosted the National Instruments regional field engineer meeting. We ended the day with a raucous, hip-bone-crushing, competitive game of WhirlyBall with the NI team.
On Wednesday, DMC attended the NI Midwest Partners Summit and the NI Veristand User Group event, followed by a happy hour at Navy Pier. Thursday brought the main NIDays event. The free conference boasted a schedule full of exhibitors, training sessions, industry discussions, a keynote, and peer networking.
Some of the most noteworthy technical sessions included Veristand, Linux-based cRIO, the Big Physics forum, and improvements in LabVIEW. Being a Vision Specialty Partner, we were also able to meet a few partners and clients to discuss evolution of vision tools. It was wonderful to see so many of our Chicagoland clients in attendance.
NIDays was a great opportunity to get a taste of the full Austin-based NI Week event in the convenience of our own backyards.
