PTP for Data Synchronization: Time-Critical Acquisition Across Multiple Devices - Ashley Enderlin and Tom Nilsson
Tuesday, May 21 - 3:45 p.m.
Meeting Room 14

As the need for smarter systems increases, so has the need to develop systems that can accurately correlate different data being acquired. Achieving accurate, high-speed timing, event synchronization, and data correlation for a system with multiple devices can be a challenging undertaking. Using distributed DAQ devices, Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) and Precision Time Protocol (PTP), data from multiple devices can easily be synchronized up to a fraction of a second. This session will delve into a case study of a system using TSN and PTP to synchronize high-speed accelerometer data with a vision system down to a fraction of a millisecond.

Automating App Distribution and Installation Using SystemLink™ Server and NI Package Manager - Steven Dusing and Beth Reinert
Thursday, May 23 - 9:45 a.m.
Meeting Room 19B

Distributing built applications doesn't have to be a complex, multistep process. Learn how to use SystemLink Server and NI Package Manager (NIPM) to easily distribute applications and allow users to update their apps with a single click. Cover process tips, lessons learned, and ways to use the SystemLink and NIPM API.
