DMC Boston Hosts 2019 Greater Boston LabVIEW User Group

On June 27, 2019, DMC's Boston office hosted a local LabVIEW User Group open to all LabVIEW developers in the area. Occurring regularly about every three months, these user groups have traditionally been hosted at DMC's office in Somerville, MA to provide a platform for LabVIEW users to share information, discuss features, and network with one another.

You can see upcoming meetings and topics here.

At this most recent meeting, since it followed NI week 2019, the topics included "What's New in LV 2019: NI Week Recap" and "SystemLink Continuation: Automating App Distribution."

What's New in LV 2019: NI Week Recap

Ashley Enderlin, who attended NI week this year, presented on a multitude of new features that NI is releasing as part of LabVIEW 2019. Among the new features are maps and sets to help organize and manipulate data collections and webVIs, which allow you to host web-based UIs.

SystemLink Continuation: Automating App Distribution

Lillian Walker's presentation took a deeper dive into the uses and applications of SystemLink, how it can help automate build distributions, and the advantages of using SystemLink. With hardware tracking and calibration and maintenance planning, the tool centralizes asset management as well as data collection.

We hope to see you at our next user group meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2019, from 5:30-7:00 pm at our office in Somerville, MA!
