DMC is now a proud member of Manufacturing x Digital or MxD. Located in Chicago, MxD has a 22,000-square-foot research factory that is used to test and demonstrate new technology, train the workforce on new systems and tools, and demonstrate the need for cybersecurity in manufacturing.
Why Collaborate With MxD?
MxD's aims to advance digital manufacturing technology and promote global competitiveness in US manufacturing. DMC’s participation in MxD gives us the ability to collaborate with other leaders on the particular challenges of new technologies in modern manufacturing.
Areas such as data collection, cybersecurity, and analytics have been around for years but their increasingly mainstream adoption means making adjustments that many in the manufacturing and process industries are not ready for. MxD’s efforts in these areas will help DMC refine our approach to these tricky problems and help our clients make the best decisions as they implement these practices.
