Yinding is part of the Automation team in San Diego. He’s skilled in mathematical modeling and heuristics development and enjoys coding challenges. Prior to DMC, he worked as a Research Associate at Shanghai Jio Tong University to develop algorithms in Python and solve computational problems for a climate change research team. In his free time, Yinding enjoys mountaineering and rock climbing. He’s also a big fan of outdoor sports, including snowboarding, skateboarding, badminton, pickleball, and table tennis. Yinding graduated from Ocean University of China with a B.S. in Computational Mathematics and Purdue University with an M.S. in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Computational Engineering. During his master’s research he worked on solving the routing problem of drone-supporting delivery systems.
