A Houston native, Monika graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management as well as an MBA. Her background is in event planning, and she worked in sports and entertainment opening up baseball stadiums and planning large special events and galas. Monika enjoys baking, photography, reading, and painting. She even opened up her own cupcakery in Charlotte, NC. She is married to a pilot and Chicago is her 20th move, having spent the last five years in Japan. She just moved into her new home in the Wicker Park/Noble Square area and can't wait to explore what this amazing city has to offer!
